23rd September - Supper Night with film "Eye in the Sky"

 
All are welcome to attend this social event, we serve a 2 course meal at 6.30 followed by a film.

Tonight's film is Eye in the Sky. Eye in the Sky is a 2015 British thriller film starring Helen Mirren, Aaron Paul, Alan Rickman and Barkhad Abdi.[3] The film, directed by Gavin Hood based on a screenplay by Guy Hibbert, highlights the ethical challenges of drone warfare. Filming began in South Africa in September 2014. The film premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival on 11 September 2015.

We are serving a two course meal - Meat and potato pie finishing off with bread and butter pudding.

Tonight's film is Roman Holiday. Roman Holiday is a 1953 American romantic comedy film directed and produced by William Wyler. It stars Gregory Peck as a reporter and Audrey Hepburn as a royal princess out to see Rome on her own. Hepburn won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance; the screenplay and costume design also won.

We are serving a two course meal - Mediterranean pasta salad finishing off with panecotta and berries.

Tonight's film is Sully. Sully (also known as Sully: Miracle on the Hudson[6]) is a 2016 American biographical drama film directed by Clint Eastwood and written by Todd Komarnicki, based on the autobiography Highest Duty by Chesley Sullenberger and Jeffrey Zaslow. The film stars Tom Hanks as Sullenberger, with Aaron Eckhart, Laura Linney, Anna Gunn, Autumn Reeser, Holt McCallany, Jamey Sheridan, and Jerry Ferrara in supporting roles. The film follows Sullenberger's January 2009 emergency landing of US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River, in which all 155 passengers and crew survived with only minor injuries, and the subsequent publicity and investigation.
