A letter from Father Michael regarding the procedure for 11 am service on Sundays

My Dear Friends,

I pray that during these trying times you and yours are well.

We had our Church AGM yesterday and afterwards the first meeting of the new Church Council.

At that meeting it was decided that for the month of July we will continue, weather permitting, with our 11.00 a.m. Sunday service outside. If it is raining the church is already prepared for us to go inside for the service.

As previously we will maintain social distancing, only receive Communion in the one kind, sign in so that we have a record of who is present, (please bring your own pen) and generally take the same precautions that we have observed for the past three weeks. However, with the expected arrival of visitors in July, it has been decided that with effect from the 5th July 2020 and until further notice, it will also be compulsory for everyone attending the Eucharistic Service to wear a face mask. This is just a precautionary measure to ensure that all that has been achieved during the past months is not jeopardised.

As always, with my love and prayers.

Fthr. Michael
