Every Sunday at 11.00AM for 40 minutes.
On Sunday morning Parish communion is the main service of the week and is attended by the largest congregation.
This is the one service of the week where our resident organist, Dr Melvyn Bird, performs his wonders often playing specially commissioned music he has composed himself.
We have a stall which may provide for your extra needs be they books to read, jams, marmalades and chutneys to brighten your mealtimes, handmade greeting cards and more. After the service we have a reception where we invite you to sample two of the specialities of the island: a glass of Madeira wine or a slice of bolo do mel, Madeira's delicious honey cake; or simply to have a cup of coffee/tea and a chat. We make a small charge for the reception.
On Tuesday afternoons between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the Old Library. Bring along your own ideas or make use of the subject matter provided. No previous experience required. Have fun in a friendly, informal and supportive atmosphere.
Held in the Lady Chapel. Coffee/tea served afterwards in the parish rooms. No Charge.
